Who doesn't love the taste of a nicely grilled steak, or a tender, juicy chicken breast cooked up on the grill? It makes me hungry just thinking about it. But will those foods taste as good as they do on an outdoor grill?
Many of today's indoor grills are as close to cooking outdoors as you can get. That said, there is no way of matching the tastes of outdoor grilling when you are using charcoal, wood chips or smoking. You just can't do that in your own kitchen. But don't let that run you off.
You can add spices and flavorings to your meat, fish and other foods on an indoor grill just as you do outside, and the flavor will taste fantastic. I cook steaks on our grill in the kitchen all the time and I'm amazed at how good they turn out.
